I love Nelson Mandela's speech about being light for oneself and for others: ”Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful without limit. It is our light, not the darkness that scares us most. We ask ourselves: who am I to be brilliant, beautiful, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of the universe. Playing small does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people around you won't feel insecure. We are born to make manifest the glory of the universe that is within us. Not just some of us: It is within each and every one of us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. And by freeing ourselves from our fear, our presence automatically frees others."
