These movies were made during a period when the public could tell fact from fiction.
Pure entertainment for critical thinkers.
The trouble began when mental radicals began treating fiction as fact, and started demanding the rest of us do the same.

That's why I said subliminal. They wouldn't be aware of it and could trust the fact that people were able to use discernment.
But kids who didn't have strong role models and weren't taught critical thinking skills could easily be exploited by the fairytale life that these movies provided. Same way they pushed feminism with movies about single working white women being smart and made housewives seem like stupid abused victims during this same era.
