Okay, anyone I have followed can write to my free theforest.nostr1.com relay. Just updated the whitelist.
 good practice n gesture ! 🤙🏼💜
I am of the opinion that it's the best relay on Nostr. 😁

Also never down. cloud fodder is doing a good job of hosting it.
100% yes also more is better
reminds me if you kindly setup later free "upptime" monitor with github for some of our few friendly relays will be nice

Yes, we're working on a Nostr tools section of the website, and we have a build server we can use for monitoring.

Since last night. 😊
You can peak at it, here, but we haven't added any runs, yet. http://jenkins.gitcitadel.eu/

We want to make some pretty monitoring pages.
I asked the guys to make everything pretty because I like pretty stuff. Very important requirement. 🤭
 "we"
Yeah, we're going to out ourselves, in a bit. 😂
Laeserin is a product mommy or a coder cutie ? 🤔
 yes
Frustrating that my follows list is sort of wonky, right now. Causing fluctuations in my whitelist, sorry. Not intentional.
If you were writing and it now doesn't work, but I haven't muted you, please contact me. It means you accidentally got dropped from my follows.
Now that's an interesting relay policy!

I like it!
So one would paste that url into a client, under "Relays"? (I am still new and just using the defaults!) Also, the link in bio which shows in Primal desktop is not showing on Damus iOS, fwiw. (Maybe they only show website urls?)
Different clients show different fields, but the content of the fields is the same across clients.
Yes. Look at how the others are formatted. Sometimes you have to prepend wss:// to it.

It's a good backup relay to have, I think, and there are lots of interesting things and people on it.
Thanks, I’ve added your relay to Primal on mobile! So is it possible to navigate to the relay and browse the users and content? Although this not on the front burner for me, but I will look into it more deeply when I get the inclination.
I'd like to setup a relay like this for myself. Did you use an existing one or write your own?
I pay cloud fodder to run it for me. Monitoring and maintaining a relay that well is a lot of work.

We have one we run ourselves, but it's more of a test/development server.
Hi Bob, yes relay.tools is where you can launch a relay in 60 seconds if you want to pay with lightning. The software is opensource if you're into running some commands on a Linux VPS you could run your own relay hub.
