I was with a group of close, non-Bitcoiner friends last night for a birthday celebration. For the first time, a conversation about the cost of living and inflation in America started, and I didn’t initiate it. It was kicked off by a schoolteacher, who openly stated that he was struggling to stay above water. The rest chimed in with their stories. The most disheartening part of was seeing and hearing the sense of resignation. “What can be done?”
As kindly as I could, I told them that it’s only going to get worse, then reminded them that when they’re ready to learn about Bitcoin, I’m here to help.
I imagine the same conversation took place millions of times across the country last night.
What would you suggest they do to help their situation, involving #Bitcoin?
Learn, gain conviction, buy & hold.
"It's easy" :)
Nothing worthwhile is.
Conviction is the most difficult thing, believing in a collective with values? it easy to me.
I have had similar experiences with family and friends recently as well. The inflating cost of living must really be getting hard to hide! My girlfriend keeps glancing over at me when it is being discussed, wondering when I’m going to chime in about Bitcoin. But, I’ve just started to sit back and let all the crazy grocery prices do the talking for me. Any family or friends who I care about already know they can come to me for Bitcoin knowledge or help, and I’m getting pretty confident they will be soon!🤞🏻
I’m right there with you. Selling or preaching doesn’t work. Letting them know you can be a source of knowledge if and when they’re ready is the way.
I would bet millions of those conversations are ending in people suggesting to vote for an even bigger government to "fix it"
Eighty percent of these people will remain in fiat as indoctrinated until the “Ministry of Trust” has moved the overtone window.
They would rather go bankrupt than deviate from accepted norms established ‘for’ the pack; i.e. Asch Conformity.
