Bitcoin isn't decentralized. it's centralized around a handful of mining companies and core developers.  Retail consumers trust them every time they buy bitcoin.  Should be obvious to a genius mind like you

 Verification of identity isn't something bitcoin invented. Nobody gets bitcoin because they want to verify themselves they get it to make dollars and to launder dollars
