Oddbean new post about login | logout well, primal is available on Android, too. runs just as fast as via webbrowser. Primal also offers all kinds of notification settings under "settings".
Thank you! I found it, but I was worried it wouldn't work bc I use GrapheneOS and in Aurora Store, it shows it as GSF dependent. I will dig into it but I hope I don't have to have to sandbox it.

Now the only issue I had after that was that this evening until a minute ago, Primal.net (on both GrapheneOS and Brave desktop browser) had something caching and acting as if I was logged in, but would never let me perform actions. so I had disable my signer extensions (Amber on Android and Flamingo on desktop) and will just stay signed in normally w/my nsec until I find a solution. I just use Bitwarden to store my nsec, hopefully that's OK in the meantime.
