I think a 6yo could do the class 1&2 routes, it would just take all day instead of just a morning
@anime_outdoor i could if i was 6 too i tried to keep up with my 9 year old cousin at one of those trampoline parks and that was a mistake. they had a swing-like thing but you grab on and hang from it instead over a pit of foam cubes and i could just chill up there for as long as i wanted, but that's cause i'm light not fit.
I wouldn’t call myself particularly fit either, pretty average, but I do walk a shit ton. The uphills at elevation wind me pretty good >below 1.5mph average speed https://i.poastcdn.org/2f97947b2dda6da443832b072619e6ac11bf0d5c13caf5270ae650e316f8a861.jpeg
@anime_outdoor i'd be nervous about doing it cause i never really did anything with elevation gain. my state doesn't have mountains.
Same, but you won’t know how you handle it until you try
@anime_outdoor next time i'm in colorado i'll give it a go. i'm sure there's a trail near I-70 for clueless retards like me.
14ers.com/route.php?route=torr5 Only thing you really need for this is 2L of water and the route photos saved to your phone. You could do it in sandals https://i.poastcdn.org/b5773e1a9778ecbbb6c35f39ce58f27627ed097cf7303c959081aa9963b9d6c5.jpeg
I've seen many fatties with instagram 14er photos at a couple of peaks in CO. Extremely well maintained trails.
Class 3 separates out the casuals from the enthusiasts I think https://i.poastcdn.org/80245cbb63a4f1b3fa7fdc0dbec1a9f36256c78ff8638d27aae1929da48dbf00.jpeg https://i.poastcdn.org/145271d23c396868833552ab365f3a2e49f1e3c5e0614bb4731f6165f87a816e.jpeg
