 Yes, that was in the OP. But the normalization is for the entire distribution, that doesn't mean average == median, iiuc, but I might be missing something. 
 I just checked and I was wrong, IQ is normed by the median, not the average 🤙 
 70% of the population falls between 85 and 115 
 Some of us only use 10% of our brains.

So if your iq is 100 and you’re not using the other 10% of your brain that’s like an iq of 50! 
 It's not really a true quotient, anymore, but it has a similar effect.

Human traits like height, beauty, intelligence, etc. tend to follow a normal distribution within a large population. We can generally expect the average and the median to be the same.

The median woman will tend to be average height, weight, looks, smarts, number of sexual partners, blood pressure rate, etc.

Also, central limit theorem applies.
