Does anyone know if I can run the #arduino create software on #nixos 

I got my kid and I this cool 30 days lost in space kit and it hinges on this Arduino hero board. But the create software looks to online be Mac, windows and ChromeOS. 

And I don't see it in the nix repos. It does have a Linux installer but is just an sh that doesn't seem to work in nix. 

Help, my kid is making fun of Linux now!
