 The goal is to keep them wild and release them once they grow up. My wife is a licensed rehabber. I'm just some schmuck 😂

But it is hard to not coddle the little bastards.

 If you pinch his skin and it sticks together, he is dehydrated. Could feed him some kitty milk

 I raised a squirrel. It's was an amazing experience. They will come back when you call their name. You will have to release it when it starts checking through wires.

Tomorrow is trying to find a local rehabber who might have reds. 

Honestly a rare sight, I'm trying to think of the last time I saw one around. Although I'm not usually looking 😂

 Truthfully I'm afraid to name them this young. Unless we trade for more reds it probably isn't staying here. But for the night it's been hydrated. 

We had a one once we named Peapod (during my Bob Ross kick) but we released him.

 Seems fine, eyes still shut. No injuries. Honestly for being in a pile of mulch you'd think it have been crushed. But. Just needs some help growing up. 🫂
