I think It’s not an easy situation, and I’m not the best to talk about it Nobody around me likes #bitcoin (family, friends, coworkers) they think #btc is too volatile and/or they doesn’t have money to risk, they prefer to buy dollars as a store of value (not now because dollar is getting cheaper against pesos), put their pesos in a fixed-term deposit (45% APY now with 218% of inflation), or buy durable goods, as a way to lose less.
I think the main issue is we need the money to live, so we can’t buy something we really don’t know how it works, because we need the money of our salary to use it before the end of the month.
I think there is people who works for other countries that prefer usdt and any other stable coin as a salary.
I hear there is a big community of bitcoin and “cryptos” in Argentina, there is an NGO and other institutions trying to teach people about it, but I don’t see any bitcoin logo on the streets, I never saw a guy with a bitcoin cap or a t-shirt, but I think this is mainly for safety reasons.
So it is accessibility of being able to use easily. Makes sense. If you are in a bad situation and can't save because your money is losing value so quickly that you have to spend it before it loses more and there is no where to use your BTC why would you buy it.
Everyone has a cell phone right?
I have had an idea for a while that would incentives everyone in the world to upload a Bitcoin app that pays you to use it. That incentiveses vendors to use it. That allows for you to hold your money in usd or btc.
I just figured at some point someone else would build it or pay for it to be built. Maybe it is time for me to put up or shut up.
Quit my job and go balls deep. Sucks, I'm not a coder and I don't have connections in that world. It's a difficult leap to make.
Here is part of it below. Get paid in BTC to upload an app on any phone or computer and become a lightning node a nostr relays, a paid TOR node.
Then everybody with an internet connection and space on a device would be paid in BTC to provide the backbone of a decentralized future.
The next part would put it over the top and help places that are suffering from hyperinflation get vendors to accept btc or USDT.
You make the app a geolacting wallet that tells you where every vendor that uses the app is located nearby and their description. They can also advertise on there or offer geolocation rewards for showing up at their shop.
Then for the big bonus incentive. The app charges half a percent on every purchase much lower than any credit card. The pot grows across the planet and is given out like a lottery (sweepstakes to get around laws against lotteries) every day, week, month, year as an additional incentive to use the app. Everytime you buy something using it you earn more entries into the prize pool.
Now you can get paid for doing nothing and get entered into huge sweepstakes for spending money when you would spend it anyway.
If there is a developer out there that understands what I'm saying and wants to do it feel free. If you need funding or want more input from me hit me up.

In countries with massive inflation, I’d think that citizens could use #btc for savings and use stable currencies for day to day expenses. #btc should hold its value in the medium term.
