 @a29ef283 it's a one-off $80 gig, not worth, relatively low risk. the reality is that they're likely gonna remote in for 15 minutes so they can console in to some switch that's on-site. 
 @a29ef283 if I thought I could *reliably* *quickly* pass all that through to a VM on the fly, I'd give them a virtual machine instead.

 Maybe someone has a real cheapo laptop willing to throw away for dirt cheap? I know people throw old chromebooks like trash.

like I said, the risk is relatively low, if they were malicious and/or smart they'd know how to do things like SSH forward or properly connect their switch to a management network. I'm just gonna comply and give them a squeaky clean partition that's only used for gig work. 

Remember, I don't trust my Windows machines anyway, so my laptop is very limited as to what secrets are on it
