 Most computer scientists learn that data completeness (central/global database) and "time chains" (order of events) are paramount to any and all applications. These concepts are so engrained in software development that it is hard to imagine an app without then. Nostr's biggest innovation is the simple idea that neither is really needed at the service/API level of most web apps, leaving the work to be done entirely at the Client level.

 Ideas like #RGB #Prime remind me of how Bitcoin could evolve into these qualities that nostr has. Bitcoin without a block/timechain, client side workload.
