@db63657e @9f7058a6 the fight against #covid isn’t one of science & fact. It’s a battle of propaganda, swaying those in power who listen to money, the masses who listen not to logical evidence based argumentation but rather to emotionally driven mass marketing.
To save lives we must use science to find the right conclusions and marketing principles to sell them.

Unfortunately what they are listening to is the failure of leaders to lead with a clear science based message “Unfortunately, there were many barriers in implementing something as simple as portable HEPA filtration units…some were that high-level guidance was missing (“there’s no policy for that” or “it’s not in my portfolio”)”
@db63657e @9f7058a6 that’s pretty much my point. Our current crop of leaders don’t give a damn about things like this. They are driven by donors & public opinion. The donor class gets their way by swaying public opinion with mass marketing see: the fossil fuel industry etc.
And back we are at my main point.
