Like I mentioned in another note, I would rather support Cloudflare than CSAM. If you have a better alternative, would seriously be interested. Everything on the internet is being scanned, no getting around that.. I ALWAYS tell everyone here, if you have very personal, private, top secret stuff, or whatever, USE YOUR OWN SERVERS, the beauty of nost! 99% of our uploads are memes, gifs and fun pics.
Btw is there a “delete” button on nostr build and can we have one? I didn’t dox myself yet, but would like option to remove photos if I did accidentally
Accounts can instantly delete, if you request we’ll delete anything you posted to the free service also.
People doxx themselves all the time, they just tell us and we delete everything.
Could we use IPFS? Maybe that can be an alternative?
Images uploaded everywhere get scanned. Besides. It's public data in Nostr. It's going to be scanned by various people and entities. If you don't like Cloudflare then recommend and alternate solution to scanning. If it's cost effective for them to use it, maybe they will look into using it if enough users request the change.

I can't because I don't know enough about that, but it doesn't mean I can't point out that cloudflare is one of the primary forces being used to centralize and kill off the best parts of the internet, the same as Walmart moving in, price cutting, driving out local businesses, then no one has any place else to go then they charge whatever they think the market can bear. If you can't afford to do CSAM scanning on your own now, you never will be able to do it in the future and that is something that I am not sure anyone is considering when cloudflare and MS inevitably start charging for their services or simply end them like Google often does. Not looking ahead in this manner is VERY shortsighted, especially since I'm an idiot and I can see that coming. 🙄
