 TODAY'S RHAPSODY OF REALITIES
Here’s another scripture where the same Greek word (homologeo) was used. It’s Hebrews 13:15 and it says, “By him, therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.”’ A better rendering of the latter part of this scripture would be “the fruit of our lips, making confessions to His name.” The term “the fruit of your lips” refers to words coming out of your lips. Here, the Spirit of God is referring
to confessions that are of praise, confessions that carry thanksgiving. Your confession must be based on what’s in the document, which is the Word of God.
