 @ca83e289 There are magnets marketed as zero boil off that reduce the leak of helium to negligible levels, meaning a one time fill of an MRI machine will last a very long time, instead of needing regular top-offs. Prices rising for liquid helium isn't the end of MRI's, it only forces the transition to more efficient machines. As for balloons, there's always hydrogen 💥 
 @0af6133c totally!  I'm less concerned about the medical part of this.  I'm MORE just shocked that He was such a rare element here.  I assumed it was just all over the place
