I'm old. How old? So old that I still can't bring myself to put a space in a filename.
@8ef3d9ae I avoid spaces in filenames because I use the shell a lot, and I hate having to escape all the spaces, so I use underscores instead.
@8ef3d9ae This is allowed?
@8ef3d9ae I also typically don't because I know that current day software still can't deal with things like this well. Doesn't prevents me from having some wild filenames from time to time though.
@8ef3d9ae Oh, I am very reluctant too 😊 Adding a space between words in an email's subject line still gives me Angst since that is used as a file name if saved outside a database. Things have changed, but I receive files from students that contain dots, comma's (???) and much more. I one day received a file from a client via email to use in their website. File name was (translated) 'tarara boom tarara boom! Trumpet sounds... I am a little elephant in the forest! Tarara boom! .wav'. Renamed it.
@8ef3d9ae Well Doctor Tim, I'm so old I don't even know what this means!
