Oddbean new post about login | logout What's your favorite web client for #nostr? I've bene using Primal for a while and thinking it was going to get better on desktop, but its had the same problems for months and its frustrating (issues: after first zap it doesn't properly ping Alby ext anymore, they just stop working, really long initial load times, I always get error on posts saying "no relays responded" but when i hit cancel the post succeeded about 80% of the time, a few other little similar things.) Curious for recommendations here.
Amethyst on mobile is mine. Haven't had much luck with the primal apps UI
Biggest issue I find with Primal on Android is videos not working. I think the developer has been focused on iOS, so he'll hopefully switch attention back to Android soon as it is faster and smoother then Amethyst overall. Amethyst is more powerful though.

Is that a Primal issue? I've noticed it as well when using Alby. Just assumed it was an Alby issue. I've heard Iris and Snort are pretty good for desktop
If you're using it on the desktop, Gossip might be a good option. It's not web based, though, so you don't get embeded content. Images work, but not youtube videos, twitter embeds, etc.

Coracle or Nostrudel
primal on mobile, coracle on desktop
I’ve just started using Damus. UX is good but struggling to connect a wallet to simplify sending zaps. Right know it’s a three click process instead of one click. But great app apart from that.
I just love the UX of #Amethyst for mobile (but I'm no Nostr expert) and often it tells me I can't zap or that users don't have a wallet set up, when they do, which is frustrating. Also, it seems to use tonnes of data, so I only ever do it on WiFi.
Snort and NoStrudel are good ^^ I usually client-hop a lot, when one is being weird, I switch. ^^
