It did look a little familiar to me when I watched it yesterday, like maybe it’s from a year or two ago.

Covid is back, though, they say.  They’re trying to do stuff with it again.  A few places are bringing back masks, though not to the extreme of 2020/2021 

 I can’t take that shit seriously. I took it seriously in early 2020, but no more. 

 I’m pretty much the same.

When the authorities advise/instruct you to wear a facemask, and you do, this is... transgressive? 

 That’s one of the reasons I thought maybe she was kidding.  Plenty of people believe in following government guidelines about masks, and often those people are leftist, but are they “queer” or, as you say, transgressive?  I just don’t see how it fits. 

 I don’t see how conforming to government regulations is radical or queer at all. 

 Obedience to authority is the new queer. If only we'd studied that in history.
