A good start that leads to something better in time 💪🏻
I would add some foam or a washcloth to your cup that you're using to hold the mic. You might get some odd high-pitched effects without some kind of damping between the cup and the mic body.
I am testing the room out, the mic sounds fine with or without the face towel but while i am recording, my audio starts breaking up when it is fine the first ten seconds....and I am not doing anything different
I know it's dumb... But have you restarted your lappy?
I'm using my Livestream software at the same time now and no issues plus hivetalk sometimes loses your recordings
