The people who interact with the mainstream only see the mainstream.
The people who interact with the reactionary alternative media see all of the mainstream things and all of the dissident takedowns of it.
Some of us have the full picture.
Some of us don’t.
Only one of those things is an echo chamber.

The US election makes me think there is a meta game that goes on somewhere else. Maybe just knowing that is a fuller picture but it can't be the whole picture

totally. plugging in to lots of echo chambers is a good (but not perfect) strategy for not ending up in an echo chamber of one's own 😋
