Leftist political philosophy boils down to their current enemies are a hive mind. I say "current", because it's ever-shifting. George Bush supporters once used to be the hivemind but then it became Donald Trump supporters despite George Bush now being regarded as an Elder Statesman by liberals today and most of his inner circle are now Democrats. They have no intellectual consistency because they don't believe that objective truth is even a thing.
