$41 for 3 burgers, fries, and water at a “shack” style joint. Plus major attitude for not tipping. For self-service.

Mandibles.
Give them a tip: Buy Bitcoin
Prices are retarded. $100 used to be a really fancy night out. Now it’s literally coffee and snacks for a few people or a “cheap” lunch for 2.
makin' us all sound like boomers, lol, "back in my day"...
And in the window is a sign that says:

“Now Hiring
$22-26 with tips”

To sling burgers.
Wtf. I would take that all day. I don’t even need tips lol.
Inflation is being massively under reported. People are getting poorer, but the numbers are hiding it.

It’s remarkable. People kept rolling in, almost all Millennials and Gen Z. I guess when you’ve given up on saving, $15 burgers are no problem.
That could have bought a house in the 1940’s 😂
 🤣
I’ve started to make my own lunches for work every day in the past year. Never did it before. It wasn’t laziness, or health consciousness, or anything. I enjoyed getting out of the office, sometimes going with a co-worker, catching up with a friend, or whatever. $10-$15 was worth it for me. It’s just gotten too insane, and I refuse to pay these prices. I sneak food and drink into venues now. It’s everywhere. They’ve broken us.
Go to Switzerland, $41 would be about 1 burger and a water
 Negatory.
If this was 5 guys it would be $55
 Not here. About $36.
How are we going to feed these kids!?
On chapter 3. Great so far...
 Which area ?
 Nashville.
 We're nearing the suddenly phase.
It sure does seem like it.
Markets can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent
 Tipping culture is basically extortion.
 Noted. 🫱🏼‍🫲🏻
 Paraguay here I come.
