I like to push and poke a little. It’s easier to make a statement than to back it up. Sometimes things seem like they make sense but after some prodding, you’ll find that there’s no factual or logical basis for the position.

I have no bad blood against you BTW, I enjoy engaging with you. At the end of the day it doesn’t really matter if you think I’m defensive or not.

But I DO believe you have a certain impression based on my presentation, and quite likely how I blast maggots, which speaks to my response of the sentiment you originally put forth. 

 Fair enough. I like giving people the benefit of the doubt, but if someone is overtly aggressive, I’ll question that approach.
