This antitrust lawsuit Google just lost is good, but man I hope they don't fuck up the punishment.

Android is open source. Each manufacturer has its own flavor of Android. Breaking it off from Google just to stop Google Search being the default engine doesn't make much sense.

As an example, Google owns Android trademarks and some patents and those are used for leverage in search negotiations. The court could just turn them into some type of public domain assets. The leverage goes away, but so does revenues of any potential Android Foundation.
They could just open source everything, every google service not just AOSP and a few others...
It boggles my mind thinking could take a product away from a company for ensuring its own products get used on it. Makes zero sense...

The fact that AOSP exists should be enough to say they aren't being over controlling. If they were stopping projects like graphene or calyx, that would be a no go, but they let them exist... Android shouldn't be touched.

Yes, we need to speed up with getting our own open hardware mobile platform 100%.
It's over for google. They will be disbanded by Trump & the military. What's going on now is just for the normies to witness the corruption of google with their own eyes.
Google is treasonous and colluded with the Demoract party and globalists to try to destroy the U.S. along with all the crimes against humanity that they are all involved.

There is a lot of Q posts detailing what all of the corruption google has done.

I would call for everything Google owns to be Free Software (not just open-source, FSF defined Free Software), and leave it at that. Get rid of all the spyware embedded, and actually make software Free again.
