However, on your fundamental claim - laws of this Universe create an arrow pointing at the inevitability of life emerging wherever it can in whatever form (no need for this type of carbon based life nor for carbon based life at all). It also mandates that such life will evolve in more and more complex forms. Universe is full of life just not similar to us&it will inevitably come in contact w us
