 I knew the benefits of mindfulness meditation for many years but until I read the book "The Awakened Ape" a few weeks ago I really underestimated the power of stopping 30m at least every day. It is truly amazing how in a matter of just 2 weeks of daily practice, you feel you can control thoughts and words better. 

One of the things the author talks there is how Shamans in many tribes and cultures around the world sharpen their minds with different rituals and meditation-like practices, improving their memory and focus, making them the responsible of keeping the knowledge base of their cultures. 

I invite you all to start with #proofofpeace just 21minutes of your day, you probably spend more time stuck in your car with traffic or whatever. 

I propose you a simple way to start, because I know it feels really difficult the first days, but there is an easy way to start, you set your timer (21M haha) , then you sit down with your back straight, and if you cannot focus on your breath you repeat to yourself "may I be well and happy"  I promise that with enough It will transform the way you think in a few days.
