There is way too much regulatory friction in the process of getting a live animal to a customers fridge/freezer. Now that certifications exist, it should be between the customer and the rancher what certifications are acceptable (if any), for the customer to make the purchase.
Moving our operation to a Bitcoin standard has allowed us to scale back and not feel the pressure of keeping up with the rat race that is caused by depreciating fiat. Not to starve anybody, not to create shortages, just to make a little blip in prices so the average person would understand that if we run our farmers out of business, we are in real trouble. At least 60% of our calories come from the half cows that we buy from a local regenerative ranch. I have no words of wisdom, but I'm sure I speak for many when I say that ranchers should be revered, not harassed. Tell them thank you!
