This is the "Taskbar" in Windows 11, which has now achieved its final form as a 100% clone of the Dock that was introduced on Macs about 22 years ago (and in similar form on NeXTSTEP about 34 years ago).

 @516e4ada ...and it is worst kind of taskbar ever.
But those "designers" need to make something "new", even if current solution is good or even best.
