The trump admin first term where they hired a bunch of members of the swamp, pulled operation warp speed, kept fauci around, printed record (at the time) money, left the patriot act in tact and stayed in the forever wars gives me ZERO hope this administration will do anything other than business as usual uniparty politics.
My litmus test is Ross. Trump has the unique ability to commute his sentence, and has promised to do so day one. He doesn’t need anyone’s help, there’s little to no downside, and it would go a long way to show goodwill to his base.
If he follows through, I’ll be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt going forward. Otherwise it’s just another broken Trump promise.

No, it won’t change the past. But it will signal whether he intends to follow through on this round of campaign promises.
If he does something then he’ll have proved it. Until then I don’t buy a word that comes out of his or any professional liars mouth. That’s just how I be.
