imo nostr can have 10x better features than threads, x and bluesky and still face hurdles

the main hurdle is not technical, it's people

there is a lack of desire for free speech across political lines

the current system is polarizing so they will flee to safe circles which is how we get concentrated user bases of left leaning (reddit, bluesky, msm, meta) and right leaning (x, truth social)

nostr offers a place that's more neutral but it will take time for more people to want that
