 Search engines are weird.

I just searched on DuckDuckGo for "democracy is not served in a tea cup" which I believe I just made up out of whole cloth but wanted to double check, and all the results are articles on the topic of "Assessing claims about Tim Walz's military service"

First of all, who the fuck is Tim Walz? And second, why are ALL the hits on DuckDuckGo about this strange man? And third, primarily, why do they have anything at all to do with the phrase "democracy is not served in a tea cup"?

I feel like the Internet is just a bunch of propaganda. ALL of the internet now, the whole bloody thing.

I'm going outside to help remember where I am.
Tim Walz is a highly left wing democrat running as Kamala Harris's VP in the US.
duckduckgo is just a wrapper over bing which is bill gates
Who the fuck thinks theye are such degens in world affairs? Fuck off🖕🏻. AI🤔?? Cool man. They speak truth🙄. nostr:nprofile1qqsp2alytxwazryxxjv0u0pqhkp247hc9xjetn5rch8c4s6xx5cmpxcppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyv9kh2uewd9hj7qg5waen5te0d3hkxctvdphhxap6xsurvwf0ud73dg, same as. You both speak such "Truth's". Widen the fucking scope....!!
I think the search engine must have crossed its wires somewhere. I tried brave search and the results were completely reasonable.
Cuckcuckgoon is a google wrapper. Both are run by the cia. Timmy-chomo Walz is governor of Minnesota and is, along with the AG of MN, one of the initiators of the world-wide George Floyd riots during the Agenda-21 lockdowns
Oh, by the way, the president-select Harris named Walz as her VP high-priest
But none of this has anything to do with my search terms "democracy is not served in a tea cup".

It is 100% unrelated to those search terms.

And it was 100% propaganda, trying to get me to think Walz has a stellar military record and honors and such.

I won't use DDG again. I've blocked it.
Just tried and got the same result. wtf.
brave search engine got more of a neutral result.
So what search engine is appropriate these days?
Duckduckgo does not proxy Google, it proxies Bing.
 Startpage.com is the google wrapper
I agree, most search engines results are unbearable. My preferred alternative for more diverse search results is https://metager.org
tim walz is governor of minnesota
 https://kagi.com
Really happy with kagi since search engines went to shit
Try it in Kagi search. Only reference to the wanna be VP guy is flagged.
Things have changed so much past few years...1984 style
 Burn it down
The propaganda after Biden dropped out has been absurd. I can’t go anywhere on the internet without seeing an article slamming Trump/Vance or talking about how Harris/Walz are the perfect ticket. Idc for either party, but the bias and propaganda is very clear.
Wild. Just had the same results. One is DDG one is Brave. Luckily I only use Brave browser, but what about everyone using these products that isn’t aware of this problem?? More people need to wake up to these issues! https://image.nostr.build/e9a6bca0ac322e68eb9f2cc1862b8fbe791a314ca31342733db81f3eced101cb.jpg https://image.nostr.build/daf27a9b4d64fbc2baeb10b47620a1d34ee0517f2b498e856b231226759ca88a.jpg
All search engines are pay to place in a way if its not direct with ads, it's paying for SEO to get certain things ranking and ofcourse the algo can be tweaked for certain searches.

These companies want people to think its just some black box working on merit/value of content but it's all about who pays the most for the best real estate
 it's so over
Make an aggregated search engine the cross references your terms across many search engines with SearXNG. Host your own server and anonymize the data. I do that and I get more relevant results and privacy. Here: https://github.com/searxng/searxng
Remember to bring your torch with you.

But where do you have put it?
