Friends, need help with crashing PC, any diagnostic ideas? I've got one all-in-one HP PC, it crashes randomly: sometimes after 15 minutes, sometimes after hours. Crashes are either complete freezes, or reboots. Data surely gets corrupted when that happens. It's a Windows box, event log contain no details, except about abnormal restart being detected after it happened. CPU, Memory, SSD? #asknostr
check the fans. cooling could be struggling. causing overheat and shit down. variable power usage would explain the random freeze times
aah, maybe, it has stayed in a dusty basement for about a year
Sounds like overheating. Had the same with dell laptop. Dell service replaced the motherboard eventually.
could be, I'll check it out
Yah, 92, fans howling, not very hot air coming out of one side of fans, no air from the other. Looks like a good hint so far. https://m.primal.net/MCTz.png
