Either way that’s very understandable. If Twitter had a “post only” mode I might use that. The algorithm for me is a nasty mix of Bitcoin dopamine hits and doom posts.

 if it was just "for fun" my relationship would be much different. Social Media is the tool we use it for

ad revenue is miniscule compared to wine sales that I get from it.

 Network effects are powerful - I’m glad that you’ve been able to use it as an incredible tool to improve your life

Hopefully one day our tools will have less negative side effects, but I suppose some of that will always be a reflection of human nature

 I'm extremely excited for Nostr to mature to a point where I can use it productively and pick my own experience to a much better degree.

 Nostr has been the only place on the internet where I’ve had hyperpersonal communications - meaning it sometimes surpasses the level of affection and connection of a normal face to face interaction.

I hope that it grows to the point where people like yourself could use it as your primary platform.
