Was just now skimming through a Substack article and then I couldn't finish it because the rest is for paid subscribers and I'm not one; I only just barely stumbled upon that author. I wish I could pay a few sats to read the rest of the piece without having to sign up for a full-on subscription. 😩

The same goes for news articles that have paywalls. I'd like to just pay a small, reasonable micropayment to read just that article. I don't want to pay $99 to sign up for a whole year! 😠

Can we get something like this on Nostr? Just micropayments for what you want to read, and not having to sign up for full subscriptions? Just maybe the micropayments will add up to more money for the creators than a limited number of subscribers would. 🤔

 even a prepaid model would be better than a subscription, so your credit persists if you don't use it
