sadly, i believe they are not cross-app comments. they probably store them on a centralised server of theirs too, rather than using s3 and minio seeders.

Yeah seems that way. I heard they are working on noatr intergrations, hoping that means using nostr relays to store zap comments etc 🤞🤞🤞
