Grateful to have noticed it. If I wasn’t outside screwing around with a charcoal project I’d have missed it
Absolutely. I was hoping to be able to feet a glimpse of it but didn't manage it. Sometimes it's just about being in the right place and time.
Maybe there will be a chance tomorrow night? It can’t be rushing away so quickly can it?
It's passed it's closest point to the sun September 19th. That's why it has that 18 million mile long tail.

It was visible to the southern hemisphere before dawn until about the 8th of this month.

Best viewing in the northern hemisphere was supposed to around it's nearest point to earth in the 12th.

May be able to see it a couple more days, but i also live in an extremely light polluted area that has had strong desert breezes that have kicked up a ton of dust.
Would be happy to attempt more photos tomorrow, not that it makes it better, it’s already dived below my horizon tonight. Ty for the data
