Google is the government's spyware, masquerading as a private company.  While I respect their right to make malicious spyware, that doesn't mean I'm going to use it.  Like many things in life, this is a trade-off, of convenience vs time, to find alternatives.  But you will still face some adversity as friends or co-workers try to send you a google doc, and look at you like you're nuts for not wanting to be apart of it.
