 For those on android, any opinion on just downloading the apk from github? github.com/ACINQ/phoenix/releases

 They will probably have to ban US IP's or do some other filtering to not have US customers. 

Think back to what happened with BitMEX when they got in trouble for serving US customers on VPN... 

Of course, not happy about this state of affairs but that's what it looks like for now.

 Thank you for your reply; value your opinion. It will be interesting to see if companies like Acinq feel the need to try to block US apk users, especially when they have not been directly compelled to do so.
