Just updated all 3 macOS systems in our house (thanks 0-day) and was annoyed, again, that each one had to download the whole install bundle.

Turns out Apple has transparent content caching on local networks for iOS and macOS if you enable it in Sharing! The Mac Mini we use as our media server is the perfect place for this. So at least going forward only one of the systems needs to actually download it and the rest will just pick it up from there.
