Sure do! And they're constantly building more of them. I feel like every new building in my area ends up being either a bank branch or a Starbucks. Those bank branches are going to be empty buildings in a few years. Probably the Starbucks too.
They seem programmable to a fault , sure , lets use it to our advantage.
The advertising for banks alone is a colossal expense of energy.
