I’m pretty numb to how much poison they try to hide in FDA approved food, drinks, and drugs at this point. If this bothers you, get ready to be bothered by a million other instances. Often they don’t hide it and it is right out in the open. Nobody cares enough to do anything. Or the makers lobby the government and are too big to penalize meaningfully.
Easiest way to skip all the bullshit is buy as much as possible from the farmers market.
Depends on the item. Sometimes it just says Butter, or whatever. That is mostly how I use them. To make sure that things like sour cream are actually sour cream, which is unfortunate but still helpful. I'm not going to produce every item myself at home.
