Does anyone else on #amethyst often get the 'Failed to upload' images? I know you have to clear cache to fix this. But I don't think a new person would know that. It's quite annoying even knowing what to do to fix this. It could even tell you to clear cache in the notification maybe? Or a link to do it? 🤔 nostr:nprofile1qqsyvrp9u6p0mfur9dfdru3d853tx9mdjuhkphxuxgfwmryja7zsvhqppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qythwumn8ghj7anfw3hhytnwdaehgu339e3k7mf0qyghwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnhd9hx2tch2deau
Maybe it's more common with the Tor think on Full? No idea tbh
If going through Tor, it might be that Tor is too busy at that moment.
I wonder if it could be an idea to have info on the notification? The worry is someone tries, fails, thinks it's because the image is roo large, reduces image /size quality, tried again, fails again (and again). And think ah you can only post extremely tiny image sizes? (That's what I thought lol)
Is it repeatable? I have seen some timeouts, but our timeout setting is about 30seconds, which is massive. It could be that servers are busy at that moment. Or something else. I also noticed that some servers block free users after too many requests. In those cases, it comes back in the next day or so.
Yes, but it only happened to me when our internet was being shoddy for a whole month.
