 @43d7c4ea I've never understood the draw of it, myself.  Not out of any zen contentment with my overall appearance but I've not seen any interventions that improve the situation in the long-term 🤔

As someone who has always sought to avoid any medical intervention, unless absolutely necessary, people's appetite for medical procedures (for whatever reason) is a mystery to me

Some of us don't have many options. As someone who suffered the agonising pain from endometriosis one week in three for years, with a cocktail of drugs that just made it possible to get out of bed, my 'elective' surgeries were very welcome.

Sure, sorry, I was meaning elective in the sense of only for 'cosmetic' reasons... even thought, of course, for some such reasons for surgery can be compelling...
