The Future Of Science Seminar Series --- Anna Dreber

What share of results replicate in different literatures in some of the experimental social sciences? Anna discusses several large replication projects in psychology and economics, where she and her coauthors have redone experiments published in high-impact journals with new and larger samples to see whether the main result replicates. 

The seminar also covers studies on forecasting prediction markets and surveys where researchers attempt to predict replication outcomes and outcomes of new hypothesis tests.

Dr. Dreber's interdisciplinary research focuses on the variation in economic preferences between and within individuals, as well as the reproducibility of scientific results.
