Tip: If you are a windows user and want a cleaner and smoother operating system than the crap windows 11, install windows server 2022. Pro tip: Uninstall windows and install Linux or BSD.
Linux for the win!
But Linux Mint can do absolutely (or even more) the same as a windoze. And is using half of resources of what is using a windoze.
I run Ubuntu alongside windows... it's still crappy OS when you need to install programs. + no excel & adobe is a bummer. I do run Ubuntu most of the time as it just works when my windows can't be kept on for more than a day without hanging.
Have been a user of Ubuntu since Version 8.4 but now considering a new distro what do you recommend as everyday system, not as a technical pet.
My favorite distribution is fedora, specifically fedora silverblue.
have you tried ublue or bluefin? its silver blue but its focused on container runtimes for all your apps. You can run anything for any distro from the comfort of silver blue without layering any packages. https://universal-blue.org/ https://projectbluefin.io/
WOW I was unaware of this, thanks for the input.
