One of the main takeaways for me has been that AI is the latest victim of the VC hype pump and dump machine.

There are many wonderful advancements being made (over many years) that have been completely overshadowed by the unrealistic promises made to pump valuations.

This recycled VC scam hurts real fields of study and probably sets them back years.
