- Anti-sybil protection. Gitcoin passport (https://passport.gitcoin.co/) has integrated #Idena to its points system to prevent farmers from Sybil-attacking airdrop distributions.
- Quadratic rewards distribution. the Idena L1 (https://scan.idena.io/) uses this rewards distribution to  guarantee the decentralization of the inflation rewards over time. The higher you stake the more your earn but the lower your stake, the higher your APY is so the stake share owned by whales decreases over time.
