It’s always about the fucking money. 

 It's funny and sad at same time how often Poland is the first to suffer the consequences of big changes in Europe.. the canary in the coal mine.

 That's not true. Poland is trying to find balance between helping Ukraine and it's own interests. 
But they have national interest in supporting Ukraine and weakening Russia. 
They are buying their own safety and peace for next year's to come with Ukrainian people blood. 
If someone is not seeing it in Poland it means is chewing on Russian psyop propaganda or is just simply dumb.
I know polish government is strongly lobbying in EU for support.  

 I disagree with the results of this perspective.  America, Germany and England were also probably was thinking the same way, they wanted to weaken Russia. 

Unfortunately everything the west has done so far has only empowered Russia and made them more independent and stronger. 

 I see it other way. 
Russia '2 day special military operation' will be having its second anniversary in couple of days. Their military resources have been heavily reduced. Ukraine is basically NATO proxy war against Russia.
Their economy is also suffering because of war expenses and sanctions. 
Nowadays full scale war is very expensive business.  

 Yes the fog of war, my father and I have a similar discussion.  My "news sources"/"pod casts" tell me that Russia has more flexibility and greater resources for producing military resources.  So whatever the Russians are suffering the west is suffering in double.  Time will be the only judge to see who's strategy plays out. 

 Agree, governments follow orders and provide to Ukr, but people in those countries had enough. It's just tragic that so many young Ukrainians had to lose their lives for someone elses wet dreams.
